She may have enjoyed a romantic dinner date with husband Percy Gibson, but Joan Collins managed to steal all of the attention on Friday night.

The 81-year-old star and her fifth husband appeared to be in great spirits as they emerged from celebrity hotspot, Chiltern Firehouse, in central London.

It was only a few weeks ago that Joan was made a Dame, where she received her honours from the Prince of Wales in a lavish ceremony at London's Buckingham Palace.

Of her honour, she said: 'Not in a billion years did I think I would be made a Dame, it never even crossed my mind.

'It wasn't anything I ever aspired to, I just wanted to be jobbing actress, a working actor and somebody who could still perform.
